Give online

When you Give at New Hope Church, you can be confident that your gifts are stewarded well and make an impact for the Kingdom.

Give Joyfully

You can give without loving, but it’s incredibly difficult to love without giving. God loves for us to share what we have with others, and at New Hope, we take His charge seriously. We believe there is a difference between tithing (which means a tenth) and offerings. Our offerings are what we give after we tithe.

We never expect you to give more than what you’re comfortable giving: “Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under pressure. For God loves a cheerful giver” is how Paul puts it in Second Corinthians (9:7).  He continues in verse 8: “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” With that said, you should never feel pressured to give at New Hope. We collect your gifts in the joy buckets, at the same time we ask for your “Let’s Connect” card. Your gift is between you and God.

“Give happily to those in need, and always be ready to share whatever God has given you. By doing this, you will be storing up real treasure for yourselves in heaven – it is the only safe investment for eternity.” ~ 1 Timothy 6:18-19

“On the first day of each week, set aside some of what you have earned and give it as an offering. The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn.” ~ 1 Corinthians 16:2

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of your income, and he will fill your barns to overflowing.” ~ Proverbs 3:5,9

“Where your treasure is, there your heart is also.” ~ Matthew 6:21

“Bring your whole tithe to My storehouse. Test me in this” says the Lord, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you won’t have room enough for it! I will prevent pests from devouring your crops and the vines in your fields will be protected from plagues.” Malachi 3:10
